“The biggest challenge while working on CRAZY RICH was to make sure the opulence of the creation would come through right from the top note and last throughout the whole fragrance. I was creating this composition to be exuberant and decidedly excessive to evoke the lifestyle of Jay Gatsby and the Buchanans. I was greatly inspired by having lived on New York’s Long Island for almost thirty years, which allowed me to vividly visualize the setting for ‘The Great Gatsby’ and transform this scent into an olfactive rendition of that visual.”
